Executive Vice President - Coal, GP Natural Resource Partners
Kevin Craig is executive vice president - coal at GP Natural Resource Partners (NRP). He served as vice president of business development for GP Natural Resource Partners from 2005 to 2014. He joined NRP in 2005 from CSX Transportation, and he has extensive experience in business development, operations, finance and marketing within the energy industry. Kevin also served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2000-2012. During his time in the Legislature, he served as Energy Committee chairman, Natural Resources Committee chairman and Judiciary Committee vice chairman. Kevin was elected to seven terms (2001-2015) in the West Virginia House of Delegates and served in various leadership positions, including chair of the Committee on Energy.
Prior to joining CSX, he served as a Captain in the United States Army. Kevin currently serves on the Executive Committee of the board of directors of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce; he is also a director for the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, board member and executive vice president of the Buckskin Council of the Boy Scouts of America, chair of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and member of the WVU Medicine board of directors, board of managers for Ciner Wyoming LLC, and is involved in numerous state coal associations, the National Mining Association and the American Coalition for Clean Coal Energy.
Kevin graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University in 1996.
Kevin was appointed to the BrickStreet Mutual board of directors in 2015.
